“Hi everyone! I’m Mursal, the owner and artist at Browz DC. I’m originally from Afghanistan, I was born in New Jersey, grew up in Dubai, and moved to Washington D.C. for undergrad in 2017! I grew up painting and drawing, and got into makeup in high school. I was majoring in Finance and took my very first beginner’s microblading training in the summer of 2019. I began taking clients - mostly friends and family - out of an apartment’s den in DC (hence the business name). Shortly after, things took off and I created Browz! After a successful two years, and graduating from AU in 2021, I turned to Browz full-time. 5 years, multiple certifications, licensing, and courses later, I’ve become a master at brows and all things cosmetic tattooing I’ve taken on! It’s been an amazing journey and I’m so excited for all the awesome stuff to come!”
